Modern Christmas Table Setting Ideas
Hi friends!
Christmas carols are playing and I am neck deep in holiday bins. So for this table setting I am going to add a modern feel, with some gorgeous black touches.
In the middle of adding some Christmas decor I am still purging my woman cave and came across this old faux mink throw.
Well. you know I had to find a use for it.
Mr. Nutcracker is a recent purchase from HomeGoods. I went for inspiration purposes for my front porch and I found him. He is tall, dark and definitely a cutey, so he drove home. Ok, I drove, but he got some looks riding shot gun let me tell ya.
My plan is or was to do a black, white and gold color scheme.
Well Greg has come up with an idea for the porch too, so red may enter in the picture also.
And I am hoping I can still use Mr. Nutcracker. We shall see. You know me, I have to see it first before I can decide.
I also haven't decided whether to keep a tree in here or not. It may get relocated this year too. I am taking it day by day with my decorating.
I am also jumping from room to room, so nothing is completely finished yet.
One of the reasons I like to get an early start.
So I can change my mind with less stress.
The mink throw is really setting the stage for this table, I may have to keep it.
But then I have to ask myself, is it ok to keep something you are only going to use twice a year? The lining on this throw is completely gone, the edges are going to start fraying any minute now.
Another decision I will ponder on another day.
Don't forget, the link party is in full swing so be sure to join up and make some new friends.
