Hi guys! I don't know about you and this holiday season, but today is a Christmas tablescape day.
I set a quick and kinda casual table and wanted to share it. As this post is going out, I am going to be relaxing. I am almost done holiday shopping but I have a ton of wrapping to do, so I am thinking today is a good day for that chore.
White, green and white are the colors I used on this festive table.
I lit the candles and turned on the battery operated ines too. Today was one of those overcast days that look like we may get snow
but no luck.
Is it just me or does a nice candle improve your mood too? It softens things doesn't it?
It made a dreary day seem more cozy.
The small purple juice glasses were a last minute addition. I found 4 at HomeGoods months ago, and almost didn't buy them. I like buying at least 6 pieces for my table. But purple anything is hard to find, especially this soft color.
So color me shocked, when 3 months later I find 2 more at TJ Maxx. Their sister store.
The deep purple votives that I sat on the plates are old companions I've had for years.
A thrift store find I think, I forget. It's been that long.
You'll be happy to know that Greg bought me some tape, so I don't have to be tortured anymore by trying to enter a department store for one item.
Not to mention the traffic in my area this time of year. I just may binge watch some movies today while I wrap.
