Most of the ornaments I have collected through the years.
I try to purchase at least 2 new sets every year, so my tree stays updated and with a fresh feel. Or 10 new sets if I am sticking my tongue out at my budget.
My new purchases this year are large white pinecones and boxes of ball ornaments in a very soft shade of purple.
Plus my local pool supply store. Because who is going to buy a pool when there is 4 feet of snow on the ground? So they got smart and carry ornaments and tree's during the winter months.
I also found some inexpensive magnolia branches at walmart no less, so those came home with me and found their way into the tree.
I still have ornaments that didn't make the tree this year, but next year is always possible.
Or hanging from one of my chandeliers in the kitchen or Dining room is definitely looking possible!
The tree itself is a new purchase also. Our old one was dated and positively huge and was really needing replaced. So last year I donated it to a local thrift store.
Plus, let's be honest.
How easy and nice is it to just plug in and play!
Being a pre-lit tree was definitely a requirement, but I still added little lantern lights found a couple of years ago.
It doesn't look like it's lit, but believe me at night, you see them!
A burlap banner found for 5 bucks also followed me home. Thank you Target, I didn't know you had it in ya!
