Setting a Summer Tablescape using a green, purple and white color scheme.
Using white dishes, it makes it so easy to change out a few elements and add a different color.
You could easily change out the goblets, the votives and the beads in the lanterns to pink, or blue and you’d have a completely different table. Or red. Red would be a good color to use. Especially since the temperature outside seems to rival the sun these days.
The lanterns were a new purchase I found today at a home improvement store. On clearance no less, $4 dollars for the small and $5 for the larger ones. Needless to say I couldn’t get them in the cart fast enough. (so go check out your local Lowe's now!)
The square white dishes, I’ve used before. These were picked up at a local Tuesday Morning. Napkins were again a clearance find, from Pier 1.
Rattan chargers are from TJ Maxx.
I switched out the curtains in the dining room, to see if I’d like the crisp white breezy look in here for summer instead of the blackout greyish brown ones. I like the curtains but I still can’t get past the paint color. But seeing as we are dealing with other diy (sump pump) issues, I’ll wait for winter weather, before I shove this project in front of outdoor activities.
Hope you enjoyed this table and stay cool!
