Simple and easy Holiday Table Setting
I was dying to use the lemon cypress trees and lavender I bought recently on a table.
I kept the colors to green, white and brown with a Woodland Fall feel.
I filled the three lanterns simply with nuts and mixed in the fresh plants and instantly loved it!
I used my everyday bone china dishes which I still adore!
I bought two sets about 3 or 4 years ago from Bed Bath & Beyond my budget with a coupon and these get used every single day and still look amazing!
For the record -
Bone China really does stand up against a knife and fork and daily usage.
Much better than any ceramic dish!
And no I have never used any type of dish wax like Barkeepers, to polish out the scratches. They go in the dishwasher and then into the cabinet.
That's my dish maintenance.
I am liking this table setting so much, this might be a contender for my Thanksgiving Table
I'd set my food up in the kitchen as a buffet for my Family.
Or simply remove the plants right before dinner and insert the food in their place.
The lanterns were a clearance find from a local home improvement store over the summer.
The napkins were bought at Target last year.
Wine glasses are from TJ Maxx
Tell me how things are going in your house
Things getting hectic for the upcoming holidays?
I have been doing some random acts of cleaning to prepare that way I am not scrambling on the holiday week.
I hate feeling frantic so making lists and taking 5 minutes to sweep or wipe something, down makes me feel like it less I have to later.
I want a relaxed, fun filled Holiday this year
XO,
