Hi Guys, I've got the halls decked in the Dining room and I thought it was time to show ya! I put tiny touches of Christmas through out, because I love decking out the dining room with seasonal decor. I have a few fundamentals that I do every year for Christmas. One - a tree. I love a skinny tree in this room. Two - I swag something on my chandelier, and I usually drop some kind of ornament from it too. This year I used my silver snowflakes. Sometimes I do ornaments, or just crystals. I try to switch it up a bit so it doesn't feel stale in here one year to the next. Also, I brought in an industrial sofa table in here from the Living Room. I hesitated doing this because I honestly didn't think it would fit. But it fits perfectly, I still have a good 3 feet of clearance between the two tables. The third thing I always do is dress the windows. This year I did the wreathes. Christmas Tree Decorating Ideas Decorating the Christmas Tree to me is one of the best jobs about Christmas Decorating. It's one of my favorite jobs, especially the living room tree. If I find a purple one I like I try and buy as many as possible. Let's be honest, I buy the plastic ones too, because they are few and far between. The extra long sofa table is still a favored piece for me to decorate. I don't want to cover it up with my couch. At least not yet. I just added s......
I snapped a few pictures of my kitchen decked out for the Christmas holiday. The sun finally cooperated and came out so I could get some decent shots! I honestly didn't think we were going to see sunshine for quite some time. Tomorrow I will be doing last minute wrapping, and some dessert baking before guests come in the evening…. So décor is at a minimum because this kitchen is about to get used. A lot! Of course I had to dress up my favorite dish cabinet.... I dressed up the chandelier with glass ornaments and icicles I have bought over the years. Just a simple and quick decor on the kitchen table. This is where I am going to setup the desserts. Here's wishing you and your family have a wonderful Holiday! XO, Christine Sharing with: Metamorphosis Monday The Scoop Mod Mix Monday...
