Bohemian |   Setting an eclectic style bohemian table seemed to fit my mood today.   Feisty. I saw the boho table runner still laying around after the last time I used it and wasn't ready to tuck it away in the closet yet. The rustic clock is a new change for the dining room. I found it on clearance at Hobby Lobby for twelve dollars. For that price I don't care if it works or not. It is giving a nice impact in this room. Plus I like to think that time stands still in this room when people are eating. Lingering is encouraged at the dinner table. Speaking of impact did you hear a loud pop? That was the top of Greg's head popping off. Because I did it again, apparently. My neighbor had some minor damage done to his house due to falling limbs. So when the tree service showed up all loaded to do some serious tree pruning for him, I put on the southern charm for Mr. Tree Boss. What better way to style up a dining table for summer then a cute bohemian style macrame table runner. It adds just the right touch of Bohemian Design.  Plus some great texture. I couldn't pass it up when I saw it at Home Goods the other day.  The glassware and dishes are from Pier One.  The dishes my youngest daughter bought me, on one of her visits home. The amber glasses I found on clearance. The warm tones of this table really depict the hot temps we're getting outside. Everyone is loving it, and our new backyard.  I have actually thought about scaling back on posting on the blog a bit, especially as we are constantly outside now. Gardening or entertaining. That's what we have been up too this summer. I want to have plenty of good memories to sustain me if we have a bad winter. Ha!...

Decorating Ideas for Fall |   Decorating for Fall using neutral colors and lots of texture without spending a lot of money! I mixed in lots of texture and a couple of really quick DIY projects you can do for your home. Because of you're like me, you only have a few dollars to spend for decorating for Fall. I added touches of rustic and bohemian in my entryway. I had some really brightly colored pink and purple boho pillows, but, I just wasn't feeling it. (I took the thrift store scarves off, because I had wrapped them like a package and tied it in the back) I think my brown furry pillows look much better. Once I did that, things really started to fall into place. The two feather pictures I already owned.
