The guacamole Coral Bells lime green can be seen from the street! It is so bright and eye catching I am already getting the traffic jams of rubber neckers. And my tulips haven't even budded yet. It is too early for a nice spiky grass or tall texture for pots unless I use a shrub. These concrete pots aren't that big, so for a thriller I used some small arborvitae that Lowes had. We just got back from a birthday party for my sister and we helped her celebrate her 50th. It was hosted by my niece (her daughter) in her new home.  I am anxious to take some photos of her home because she just finished installing her wood floors in half her house. and I mean that literally. She installed them. So damn proud of this woman, I cannot even begin to tell you. I found some footed bowls that I needed to add to my ultimate white dish collection from HomeGoods. Four dollars each was hard to pass up! The napkin rings are imitation leather from the Target Dollar Bin. I don't remember where I got the moss bunnies from. As Winter edges its way out as he and I have officially broken up, I spotted a metal/wood sign that inspired a revamp of one of my favorite rooms to decorate, the entryway.  Are you breaking up with Mr. Winter too or are you still enjoying the cool crisp air and snow? Once I spotted the metal spring sign at JoAnne's I knew it'd be mine. Until I saw the price. I had to wait for the right sale. Am I getting old or are their prices getting a little too big for their britches? I decided that the sign was worth it with my fifty percent off coupon but I almost passed it up. I had this hutch filled with silver frames with family pictures but with the sign it just didn't feel right. So I cleared the decks, hung the sign and started with a clean empty slate. That's when it all just fell into place. I just tried to style it for empty space and balance and I am loving it. I popped some tulips here that were originally on the kitchen table for one last pop of color. Everything......

Using a classic black and white theme and adding a vibrant pop of color for spring decor on the porch, really welcomes your guests with a smile. That's what I hope to accomplish with my thought process for my spring front porch.  Since we DIY'd a small reno with this porch back in 2016 and gave it a much needed update, we can now seat 4 rather comfortably. Having cushions and pillows lying on the stairs reminds me on long wrap around porches of Florida and how we'd sit anywhere when it was 98 degrees with 100% humidity.  They just say "Come sit down and relax awhile, I know you're exhausted." I found some Sunbrella Purple Outdoor Pillows online back in March and ordered them.  I didn't deliberate long I admit. It occurred to me that every year I add pillows out here that I long for purple outdoor pillows and write the proverbial blog post about Purple being a color too. It was then I realized that Thirty Six dollars for one 20" pillow was not so bad. ......
